# Sidekick and AI assistants

Shopify **Sidekick** can answer questions about your webhooks directly, without you opening
the app. It is available wherever Sidekick is in your admin.

## What you can ask

- "Do I have a webhook for my contact form?"
- "Is my n8n webhook enabled?"
- "How many times did my wallet reminder fire this week?"
- "Why did my last invocation fail?"
- "How do I call my contact form webhook from Python?"
- "What does my order webhook send to Flow?"

## What Sidekick can see

Six read-only tools:

| Tool | Answers |
| --- | --- |
| **search** | Find or list your webhooks and whether each is enabled |
| **webhook_details** | The full configuration of one webhook, and exactly which fields it sends to Flow |
| **history** | Recent invocations, filterable by status, caller and time range |
| **invocation_detail** | Why one specific call failed - attempts, error, masked headers |
| **how_to_invoke** | The live URL plus ready-to-paste code for curl, fetch, Node, Python, Go, and guides for Make, Zapier and n8n |
| **stats** | Success rate, totals and busiest webhook over a period |

## What it cannot do

- **It cannot change anything.** Every tool is read-only. Creating or editing a webhook
happens in the app - Sidekick links you straight there.
- **It never reveals your tokens.** Code samples use a `<YOUR_TOKEN>` placeholder; copy the
real token from the webhook's page.
- **It does not return invocation payloads**, which may contain customer data.
